Stone. Achondrite. Aubrite (AUB)

A shower of stones fell over a considerable area in Norton Co., Kansas, and Furnas Co., Nebraska. Over 100 stones have been recovered, including one of about 1 ton, and one of 131.5lb (59.6kg), F.C. Leonard (1948). Norton County Meteorites are friable lime-poor enstatite achondrites (Aubrite) Some with nickel iron inclusions.
